New member approved: Sinotungsten Ltd
At a recent meeting of MMTA directors it was confirmed that Sinotungsten Ltd is now a full member of the MMTA following their recent application.
Sinotungsten Ltd is a joint venture between Jiangxi Rare Earth Rare Metals Group (JXTC) in mainland China and Shangxiang Minmetals Holding Ltd in Hong Kong established in 1995. Its main business is investing in Chinese tungsten production and trading of various kinds of tungsten, molybdenum, cobalt, bismuth, cadmium, tin, vanadium, manganese and rare earth elements.
Sinotungsten is one of major shareholders of Huaxin Tungsten Products Co., Ltd. establish in in Ganzhou, China in 1997 with yearly capacity of 6,000mt of APT, 3,200mt tungsten oxide, 1,000mt of tungsten powder, and 1,5000mt of AMT. It has become one of the biggest tungsten smelter in China.
