Following on from the resounding MMTA victory last year on 19th July the MMTA's athletes once again took to the oval field and faced the combined strength of Wogen's resources.

The weather was perfect, the Pimms flowed and fans who flew in from around the world were duly rewarded with a spectacular and thrilling game of cricket.

The cricketers might have worked up an appetite playing, but rest assured that the spectators did too.  The day ended with a very welcome hog-roast.

Despite sterling efforts from all concerned, unfortunately the MMTA's batsmen were only able to reach 150 off 22 overs, a score acheived by Wogen's batsmen in just 19 overs.  For the first time in this contest the trophy was won by Wogen, with Warren Ruhomon scoring the winning run.

Our thanks to Wogen Resources for kindly inviting the Association to play and providing refreshments (and a hog roast) to players and spectators alike.
