In any international trade organisation unexpected events sometimes require specialist attention and minor metals are no different. To assist the Main Committee with specific tasks sub-committees are commissioned to undertake certain work.
Members of these committees have specific expertise in a particular field and are able to work on behalf of all members to provide practical help and guidance in a variety of areas. Importantly, the full committee is able to provide the means by which all members can consider the work of the sub-committees, create and move projects forward, whilst networking and forming lasting friendships.
The MMTA believes in small effective sub-committees (comprising 3 or 4 persons maximum), drawn from leading member companies. These are appointed by the main committee.
